Recent Status History

RESOLVED: All printing issues have now been resolved. Thank you for your patience while ITS worked to resolve the issues. [09/16/2021 11:11AM]


PROBLEM: ITS has received reports that network printing may be offline. This appears to have been caused by a Microsoft patch. Microsoft is aware of the issue, which is affecting other customers in addition FSU. ITS is actively working on resolving the issue and will share more details as information becomes available. RESOLVED: The problems accessing FSU resources for MetroNet customers have been resolved. ITS is continuing to monitor the situation to ensure service is stable. Thank you for your patience as MetroNet worked to resolve the issue.  [9/16/2021 7:45AM ET]


PROBLEM: ITS has received reports that users of MetroNet are having trouble connecting to FSU resources. We are investigating the issue and will share more details as information becomes available. [09/15/2021 4:55PM]

 

MAINTENANCE: myFSU Student Central and related services will be intermittently unavailable while ITS performs planned maintenance from 8AM-10PM ET Saturday, September 18.

MAINTENANCE: Zoom may be intermittently available while Zoom performs planned maintenance from 4PM-6PM ET Friday, September 10.

RESOLVED: The problems accessing OnBase via Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome have been resolved, and OnBase is fully functional. ITS is continuing to monitor the situation to ensure service is stable. Thank you for your patience as we worked to resolve the issue.  [9/13/2021 9:05AM ET]


PROBLEM: ITS has received reports of an issue with OnBase. Users may receive the error below when trying to access the OnBase web client using Microsoft Edge. ITS has reached out to the vendor and they are actively working to resolve the issue, and will share more details as information becomes available. In the meantime, we recommend you try another browser.

RESOLVED: Voice over IP telephone services have been restored. ITS and Lumen have worked to identify and fix the problem, and ITS is continuing to monitor the situation to ensure service is stable. Thank you for your patience as we worked to resolve the issue.  [9/2/2021 4:55PM ET]


PROBLEM: ITS has received reports of an issue with Telephone services. Incoming and outgoing calls to Tallahassee Campus and the Coastal Marine lab are affected. ITS has discovered that this is due to a vendor problem and will share more details as information becomes available.  9/2/2021 10:07AM ET

RESOLVED: ITS has resolved the issues with myFSUID passwords and new activations. Thank you for your patience while we worked to resolve the issue.  8/31/2021 6:20PM ET

PROBLEM: ITS has received reports of an issue with myFSUID passwords. Users may not be able to access their challenge questions if they forget their password, and new account activations are currently not working. ITS is investigating the issue and will share more details as information becomes available.

UPDATE: Filemaker is still having certificate issues. ITS continues actively working to restore service as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued patience.  [8/31/2021 2:30PM ET]


PROBLEM: Filemaker is currently having security certificate issues. Please try to clear your browsing history and use a different browser besides Chrome. ITS is investigating to resolve this issue and have Filemaker restored as soon as possible. If you are still experiencing issues, please call the Service Desk at (850)644-4357(Help) or report a problem to enter a case.

RESOLVED: The deployment of the fix by Microsoft has completed successfully. Additionally, they’ve identified that the fix will take approximately 24 hours to take full effect. Microsoft will continue to closely monitor the environment during this timeframe to ensure the service remains in a healthy state, and that the fix progresses as intended.  ITS is also continuing to monitor the situation to ensure service is stable. [08/27/2021 8:45AM]


PROBLEM: ITS has received reports of an issue with Microsoft One Drive for Students, Faculty and Staff. One Drive quotas are not being correctly applied and users will see their storage limits being lower than expected. Instead of 5TB, users are seeing their quota set to 1TB instead.

Any user that was over the 1TB mark before the issue, will see their content in read-only only mode while Microsoft works to fix the issue. We will provide updates as more information becomes available. [08/26/2021 8:15AM ET] 

RESOLVED: The FSU Secure wireless network service is restored. ITS has worked with Aruba to identify and fix the problem and is continuing to monitor the situation to ensure service is stable. Thank you for your patience as we worked to resolve the issue. [8/24/2021 11:00AM ET]
